I have a new mantra: "I have known what NOT to eat for a long time, but now I know what I should eat". When you tell people you are trying something new, and you say I am eating healthier, their response to me is, "but you have always eaten healthy"! I am learning a lot during this challenge. It is not all about cooking, nutrition, it is also about making the time and effort to do what is best for yourself.

I wanted to check in with you and let you know that in the 6 days I've been on this journey, I have lost 8 pounds. Not even sure how one could lose 8 pounds in 6 days without starving themselves, but I have done it. I feel completely satisfied everyday...and I've lost the feeling to "snack" late in the evenings once the kids are settled in for bed and I'm alone (my "trigger" time). My skin is looking better, I'm sleeping through the night (I usually wake up several times throughout the night). I'm so glad I decided to do this. Thank you for providing the tools necessary to make this happen. The only question I have is why in the world did I not do this sooner!?

I first turned to Dana when testing revealed 33 major food intolerances. I was already gluten free due to my celiac disease, so eliminating 33 additional foods was, to say the least, daunting.

Just want to share this 28 day program I am just finishing up. If any of you that want to know what healthy food is and looks like this program is for you. I have always thought I ate good healthy food. Always low fat, fat free, reduced calorie and lite are the word I would seek out on all the containers. Well talk about doing that all wrong!! Organic, clean, REAL (not processed) food is what I have been eating for the last 26 days and I have never felt better! It's not a diet but a lifestyle change. Just a quick note on how much I'm loving this program!! I have dropped pounds (like 5, bonus), not felt hungry and have enjoyed eating every meal! [My daughter] and I cleaned out the pantry and fridge at the house and threw away SO MUCH (some was just really old stuff). Felt bad for trashing it but would feel worse eating it!
