Homemade Bone Broth
Homemade bone broth 14 hours into the process. Look at the nice gelatin forming on the top. I typically cook it for 24 hours and sometimes longer, and add the broth to soups, stews, and for cooking or sautéing vegetables. When I'm not feeling well or when I'm lacking energy, I like to sip on broth throughout the day. With the cold, flu, and strep season in full swing, broth is cooking 24/7 at our house. Which is coming in particularly handy as the hubby's throat is scratchy, the two older girls have some drainage, and the little one is sounding like a sultry-voiced actress. Getting our broth on, folks!
