Shakshuka + ground bison meat = meatshuka

Quite a nice marriage:)

-1 chopped onion sautéed in grass fed butter

-1 lb grass fed ground bison

-3/4 jar of organic pasta sauce

-1 tbsp honey

-6 organic eggs

-salt, pepper, herbs, & spices to taste

I sautéed the onions until soft and browned; added the ground bison meat and cooked through; put in the pasta sauce, honey, salt, pepper, & parsley and mixed everything well; cracked the eggs onto the mixture and covered with a lid; continued to cook on low to medium heat until eggs were almost done.

Enjoy with bread (gluten free, sprouted, or your choice), on top of spaghetti squash, or along with steamed vegetables.
