Another ❄️snowday ❄️ which means another day to keep the monkeys occupied and helping in the kitchen. They asked for pancakes, and pancakes they shall make: gluten free and Paleoish pancakes made with coconut flour, eggs, organic whole milk, and honey (to see the recipe I adapted from, go to nourishingdays.com). Simple Omelet

Yogurt Bar I placed the whole milk yogurts with the optional mix-ins/toppings, which included raspberries, blueberries, gluten free granola, and raw walnuts on the table, and the little ladies customized their yogurts, and, as you can see, showed me they like the "build-your-own" types of meals. Honey-Nut-Date Bars: One of the most popular snacks in our house are these honey-nut-date bars I prepare on a weekly basis, because they go fast around here! For this batch, 1 cup raw almonds, 1 cup raw walnuts, 1/4 cup unsalted cashews, 1/4 cup macadamia nuts, 10 presoaked dates, 1/2 cup shredded unsweetened coconut, and 1/2 cup raw, unfiltered honey. Egg Muffins I often make egg muffins on Sundays to serve for breakfast or to throw into lunches for a convenient, tasty, and healthy serving of protein. I always begin by sautéing onions in grass-fed butter as well as any other vegetables I have on hand. This time I added broccoli and spinach and continued sautéing. Anti-Inflammatory and Healing Smoothie
The hubs isn't feeling too great, so in addition to soups, I've been giving him refreshing smoothies with anti inflammatory cherries and healing, raw, & local, honey.
